Ooredoo Signs Partnership with Nvidia, Expanding Into Middle East Market

Ooredoo, a Qatari telecoms provider, has entered into a partnership with chipmaker Nvidia to deploy thousands of GPUs in data centers across multiple countries in the Middle East. The deal, which complies with all U.S. regulations, aims to enhance AI infrastructure by processing large volumes of data for AI chatbots and other tools. This move comes as the U.S. restricts the sale of certain advanced chips to the region due to concerns about interception by China. Ooredoo is also investing $1 billion to expand its regional data center capacity.
